Edward Salzwedel

Ed became a Christian in 1957 at Berean Baptist church in Detroit, Michigan.  He has held several positions from Sunday School teacher, Discipleship Training Director, trustee, Royal Ambassador Director, ordained deacon, board member of San Antonio Bible Based Science Association (SABBSA), and Minister of Education in a church he helped start in San Antonio.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University (1977) and a Master’s Degree in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1994).

Ed served in the US Air Force active duty from June 1965 through September 1990 and civil service from November 1998 through October 2011.

Ed and his wife, Carol, have one daughter and three grandchildren.

Ed’s personal interests include reading, stamp and coin collecting, music from the 1930s through 1960s (which included many genre’s he has played) and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
